TV out problem on ati radeon xpress 1150?

Hi


I own a new inspiron 1501 dell laptop


it has ati radeon xpress 1150 video card.





the laptop has no s-video option


i found on web that i can connect the laptop to tv using vga option





this can be done as the video card has tv-out capability





so i bought a vga to s-video cable and connected to tv


but there was no signal detected mesage when i hit Fn+ F8





does this graphics card has inbuilt tv out function





can I connect laptop VGA to TV using s-video connector?





does this VGA card support TV out directly through VGA port function?

TV out problem on ati radeon xpress 1150?
Set TV to accept input from S-Video and change laptop resolution to 800 x 640 which is maximum resolution for S-Video.
