Hi, i know you probably get this type of question everyday, but there isnt a better place to ask ! :):):)
I want to but a HD TV, that can do 1080P. I'm mostly going to be using it for gaming ( PS3 via a HDMI ) and through DVD Upscalers (Again via HDMI )
Ive narrowed it down to 3 TV's all of which do 1080p, have 2 HDMI sockets, and are around 42". I was wondering if someone could tell me which one to pick, and which ( if any ) have faults / problems that i should know about.
They are:
1) Sony Bravia KDL40W2000 -- £1,499

2) Sharp LC42XD1E -- £1,299

3) Philips 42PFL7662D -- £1,299

Thanks in advance :thumbsu
What TV Should I Buy?
Sony, hands down. No.2 would be the Sharp - nice picture, but Sharp has had some apparently unresolved banding problems on some of their LCDs and seem, from complaints, not very sympathetic to customers. Phillip/Magnavox is the least reliable of the "name brands." Stay away.
Reply:Bravia is too good... i dont know abt the rest
