My Hitachi 50 inch lcd projection tv has a yellow circle in the middle of the screen. Kind of like a cloud of yellow. I still have warranty on this tv and am wondering what is wrong and what the estimated price of parts and labor to fix it is. If the cost to fix it is expensive, then we will get a new tv as replacement. Is my tv dying??? I'm kinda hoping it is so I can get a new one.

If you do have a warranty, the repair should be free. They won't give you a new TV.
I don't recognize that symptom, but a lamp is typically $200 to $300 but if it needs a light engine, it could be over $1000.
If you have a warranty, none of that really matters...

Reply:may be one of the Lamps inside may gone fuse ... since its under warranty its easy for them to replace it ..don worry it may not be a major problem
