Tv show assignment, is this show too babyish and immature???

in science we have to watch a tv show nd talk about the family relationships nd stuff. im in middle school and i'm a girl but i dont rlly watch the simpsons and family guy and stuff like that. but i dont know any other tv show with a fam in it besides that disney channel hannah montana kinda stuff!!!!! what other tv shows should i watch for this project?? i'm afraid i'm gonna look like an idiot if i choose something from disney....do u think i'll look bad if i do?? thanx

are all good shows that deal with family issues. Although Malcolm in the middle shows extreme happenings it's still fun to watch and might make for a good project
