Tv scart connection?

if i have 3 tvs with scart connections and i connect the first to the second, and the second to the third, then connect a dvd player to the first tv, will the dvd players signal pass along the chain and display on each tv? i think this because surely the second tv is just displaying what is on the first tv, and the third tv is just displaying what is being shown on the second. if you understand my logic please answer!

Tv scart connection?
Yes
Reply:yes if you turn the send an third tv to the av channel
Reply:no
Reply:I see your logic, an av1, av2 etc channel is for an input- ie ps2 dvd, or another tv, the signal is sent from a 'scart out'. The thing is this will only work if the tv sending the signal has a 'scart out', im quite sure that not all do. There must be a predefined 'in' or out 'out' or a piece of equipment of any kind would not know whether it was sending or receiving

Reply:Hey there, someone the same as me!

I have linked up four TVs to two DVD players, cable television, and free-view box. Also run two video recorders and hi-fi systems into the system.

Down to trial and error to get the system working.

Ensure you use scart leads with all twenty pins in place, not the cheaper ones that only have three or four pins.

It can be complicated, but I'm sure you will sort it out.

Good luck!
Reply:No, as the tv does not have any output channels, only input ones. You can only send signals to display into a tv and not back out again. try getting a splitter if you really want to see the same image 3 times =S
