Pc to tv using home wifi?

I have a Sony HD TV. My computer is about 50 feet away in my office. The PC is connected to a Link Sys router which runs fine. I have another PC connected to it using the wireless connection. I am on Direct TV Satelite. Works great. Playing DVD's on the TV no problem.

Question: What do I need to do to get the TV to receive a wireless signel from the Office PC and play? Is there such a thing as a wireless (stand alone) receiver that I can put by the TV and plug it into the TV to receive the signals?. The TV has inputs for HDMI, PV, S-video and I guess a few others. Multitude of inputs. An option is to put a third computer besides the TV and use it for the intermediate step, but really do not want to do that. Stinging a physical connection is sort of out of the question because of distance and front yard. Any help and suggestions would be appreciated.

well if you have media center version in your pc you can use one of the many wireless media center extender in the market like

they even came with dvd player integrated and have component, hdmi output and digital audio output too.

remember that for streaming hd content you will need a lot of bandwidth like in wireless-N maybe Wireless-G could work depend on the streaming content.

Its a bluray player that comes equipped with built in wireless

that connects to computer through your wireless modem and accsesses all music, pictures, and videos from your windows media player version 11. I have mine connected by means of the hdmi 1..3a standard to my Elite plasma and Elite 92TXH TRUE HD receiver. Truly the Best answer and awesome performance
