I have a usb tv tuner and i can watch tv just fine using the media tv software. But when i try to use media center it tells me there is no tv tuner hardware (tv card)detected.
Is there a way (is it even possible) to have media center register a usb tv tuner as a tuner card?
I was thinking maybe pluggins or somthing like that.

The driver for your USB TV tuner needs to be BDA compatible to work with media center.
Check the manufacturers website of the maker of your tuner adapter to see if they have a BDA driver for it.
Without this it won't work with media center.
Email me with the make and model and i'll see if I can find a BDA compatible one for it.

Reply:wow i have the same problem too, although even the drivers for my DTV 1000 T dont work on vista so it doesnt work at all lol.
