TV Part name question..?

i have a Sylvania 20" Tv/Dvd combo I bought from Best Buy 4 yrs ago, and I bought the extended warranty plan which does expire in June, im not going to renew it b/c any new TV will just be a current HD Model, however i'm having some problems with this one and since I can still get it fixed under this contract I think i will. But being a girl i want to sound somewhat knowledgable when I go in there. I've got no prob. explaining that the DVD player makes noises and sometimes doesn't work,





However, sometimes the right side of the screen, the color is off, and it's more green than it is color, so I was wondering what that part of the tv that regulates the color (the bulb, a developer, pixels, something entirely different) So when I drop it off I can suggest to them to check that specificially because it is a problem that doesnt happen all the time, just sometimes.

im sure if you take it to them and explain the problem, the techs there won't tell you something its not b/c you are female. just explain to them the problem and they should be able to figure out the right place to look.
Reply:It sound like there is something magnetic that is affecting the tube maybe like a speaker for a stereo system but if there isn't anything magnetic within 2-4 ft then the tv should be taken back to Best Buy and tell them that the tv tube is off color in the color in the right side of the tv
Reply:Impossible to name any particular part but if you just say please check for intermittent shading on right side of screen that will be enough ! besides if you were to come out with a real technical sounding comment they would probably fall about laughing .
