Shaky picture on TV?

Hi everyone. I have a weird problem.

My TV (on certain channels) sometimes has a shaky vibrating image (green hue) for a split second every 20 or 30 seconds, sometimes in quicker succession and sometimes with longer intervals. Most TV channels work perfect, but the two I watch most have this problem so it becomes annoying.

The TV is hooked up to the cable TV through an RF cable (typical cable off the wall). I tried using a different TV with the same cables and outlet, yet I had no problems with that TV.

I thought it might have been "interference" from other devices, but which devices can cause this and how far away should I keep them from my TV?

Also, I have no problems whatsoever with my inputs (A/V, component, HDMI, etc).

For the record, it is a 32" LCD TV (LG Electronics).

Is this a problem with the tuner inside the TV? Is it that the TV gets too hot? Is it interference from other devices?

I am really puzzled. Please help me.

Thank you.

Best Regards.

Usually this kind of problem comes because your have multy system TV (the one that support PAL, NTSC and SECAM). with the time pass by the TV sensing system will become loss, the TV miss detect what kind of system your TV receive.

For example if you receive unclear/distorted PAL broadcast signal your TV will think that it is SECAM signal, and will use SECAM way to display the image and the result is the image you see.
Reply:Well, from your Well-informed statement about the problem, I definitely know that your Tuner is the cause of your problem......

It's because you stated your INPUTS WORK FINE.....

It may be heat related, but I doubt that is going to change the fact that the tuner isn't functioning correctly.....
Reply:Is it under warranty. Contact the maker. It could be a color sync problem.

TV is an overlay of multiple black and white images, one of which deals with greens, the other deals with magentas, another deals with brightness on the screen.

It sounds like the green one is shifting.
Reply:I had this problem too. Just for some channels. There is no problem with input or other. It can't be repaired. I had this problem after this tv got struck by thunder. They may say that the tv has no problem at all as the circuit works well... If it is still under warranty, return it and get it changed, not repaired! This unit may be used to be a faulty unit from factory. If they say they are able to repair it, i think the problem may still persists but it might slightly improve.
