TV/Xbox 360?

Please tell me what is the source of my problem.

Well, I have my HD A/V plugs connected into my xbox 360 that come with the system. Ok those are all connected the way it was when I first got the 360, and I was getting picture from when I had the LCD TV on channel AV1. My xbox 360 I think is fine, because you can hear it running game/video, etc. There's just no picture. While I was in the middle of playing a game the screen went to some funny fuzzy looking red color. I then re-booted the 360, and now all I see is a black screen.

Heres the tricky part. The LCD TV will show my cable programming channels just fine. I just cant game nor watch a dvd, etc on the TV now. Did the AV1, AV2, HDMI, etc functions go out on the TV? Or is it the xbox 360?

I've tried plugging the correct cords into AV1, AV2, etc but still couldnt get it to work. Also called xbox live support and Philips support to no avail. Also bought new HD A/V universal cords, bu that didnt work either.

if you cant watch a seperate dvd player or your xbox thru the tv i would say your tv has an issue of some sorts - try using the standard rca plugs that are also with the xbox and plug it into a different tv see how that goes and do the same with the dvd player. that will at least eliminate them as having issues.
Reply:u know what the same thing happened to be and its very simple.

on the wire connecting from the 360 to the tv it has a switch that changes it from tv to hdtv. flick it up and bang you got your hd xbox 360 working
Reply:if your using the HDTV function on the xbox and your using AV1 it won't work because AV1 doesn't support HD plug the cables into component
