Samsung LCD....monitor or TV? What to get?

Hello Yahoo Answerers,

I would like to get a LCD Monitor that doubles as a TV...or a LCD TV that doubles as a monitor. I've decided that I definitely want a Samsung 22" Widescreen LCD...TV or Monitor, but I'm unsure if the benefits of a Samsung "TV" really outweigh the cheaper price of a Samsung "monitor."

Which do you think I should go for? A TV with a PC input or a Monitor with a TV input?

And is it really worth a few hundred dollars more to get the TV for the remote and built in speakers?

Can anyone share their experience with this?

Thanks in advance!

Samsung LCD....monitor or TV? What to get?
Sure, I can asnwer this question. The real question is what are you trying to do. For the longest time I used my samung 32inch lcd tv as my mintor and a tv. If you ar trying to do split screen I would recommend the TV. If you are looking at quality of (tv) picture I would recommend that route as well. Now on the other hand if your just looking to save space and picture quality for the tv does not really matter then a TV tuner for your PC may be the best way to go. Now I no longer get to use my TV as my monitor (a woman came into the picture) So I bought my self a samsung 22inch lcd monitor.

Like I said though it depends on how much or how little you put and PUSH on your TV picture. I also use a Tv tuner now on my computer since I can no longer get my tv over here(women again) The quality is good but never as good as a regular tv for it. If you have any question you may ask. BTW my samsung tv was this model(LSN 32d) and my monitor (syncmaster 226bw)

Good Luck
Reply:if the tv has digital then it would be best to gofor that. if not i would still go for the tv because its a tv and that what u would use it most for . also u can conect lots of different things to the tv such a vhs recorder and so on and so on

so go for the tv if you have the money
Reply:go with LCD moniter
Reply:go for ur choice and the one u can afford and is important to u most
