TV won't respond only blue screen (please, serious answers only)?

I have a Mitsubishi SV-5052 big screen TV. I recently had my cable box turned off and now have basic cable without the box. I accidently pushed something on the remote that put my TV in home theater mode, and now I cannot get it off. I now have just a blue screen. I do not have the TV's original remote only the cable remote and a universal remote. I have tried unplugging it, and there is no reset button. I have also reset the code on the universal remote but it does not get off the blue screen just shows the channel numbers going up and down, also the input will not change the TV modes too the DVD player or for the mode to play the playstation. I have looked everywhere online for the users guide for this TV and found nothing. It is stuck on stupid PLEASE HELP!!.

try your" input selection "button it sounds like its in the mode to run a move but there is no movie If you don't have an" input section "button it may say" mode " or "TV mode"
Reply:It sounds like your TV's display has been routed to a different INPUT than the Cable/TV input jack, like a VCR in put or an RCA input. You need to change the input back to TV from VCR or LINE1 or RCA, so on. How to do this without the original remote, you are going to have to look up the program code for the universal remote and program that remote correctly, once done, change the TV Input until you're back on cable.
Reply:Is there a MODE or Menu button on the remote you accidentally push the button on ? If so push the mode button and there should be choices for you to pick from if NOT there try the menu button ??

Maybe you could ask someone who is actually there to see it they could make more sense out of it.
